Care instructions for your jewelry ✨
Fine silver
Our pendants are made of fine silver (999) , and our necklaces of sterling silver (925) . Silver is a natural material and can oxidize over time – so it may tarnish slightly. This is a natural process and not a defect .
If your jewelry should ever tarnish, simply hold it under lukewarm water and then clean it with a polishing cloth. It will soon shine with its usual luster.
You can wear your silver jewelry every day without worry.
Solid gold – 8, 14 or 18 karat
Our solid gold jewelry in 8, 14, or 18 karat is exceptionally durable and robust. You can wear it every day without hesitation – no special care instructions are necessary.
Gold-plated jewelry – please be careful!
Gold plating is a fine surface finish and more delicate than solid precious metal. As a general rule, gold plating is not meant to last forever – it will wear off over time.
To ensure you can enjoy it for as long as possible, please note:
-
Remove jewelry before showering, bathing, exercising, or sleeping.
-
Depending on skin type, contact with sweat can put more strain on the gold plating – therefore, it's best not to wear it during sports.
-
Avoid direct contact with perfume, cream, hairspray or other chemicals
The wearing away of the gold plating is not a defect , but a typical sign of wear and tear from regular use.
Our tip
Keep your jewelry dry, separate and protected – for example in a cotton bag or in the jewelry box we supplied.
